Igbo Culture & Cooking My montage is dedicated to my passion for cooking, and my love for my culture. As I have mentioned before, I am a proud Nigerian (Igbo) woman, and I come from a strong line of women who pride themselves on cooking for their households. Many people might see it as a "sexist" culture, but to me, it's more about passing down traditions through the act of cooking--teaching the next generation the secrets of maintaining their homes and bringing a their understanding of what culture is, to the table. I would like to dedicate this video to the maternal forces in my life: my mother and grandmother--may you both continue to live long and reap the fruits of your labor. Enjoy!
