Who said food can't be sexy? A look into their succulent nature

Admit it...We all love to eat! Food is what keeps us going literally! In a fast-pace culture that favors food on-the-go, sometimes, we forget to see the beauty in the very nature of our food. Well fear not, for all hope is not lost! We finally get a sense of the sexiness of our food. This commercial by Marks & Spencer, a multinational retailer headquartered in London, that specializes in selling high-quality home and food products. With this visually satisfying commercial, it urges you to get up from the couch, or exit the fast-food drive thru and get reacquainted with your kitchen. So, go ahead and tempt your tastebuds and take a look at this culinary commercial. Warning! The images you are about to see are delicious! Bon Appetit!

Figure 1
The commercial begins with a dark layout, teasing the viewer's curiosity, all the while, igniting a sense of excitement with the bubbly soundtrack playing in the background.

Figure 2
A single egg then appears on screen, which most viewers are not expecting, but, of course, the symbolism suggest that "most great meals start with a single ingredient to transform the dish".

Figure 3
It appears the egg has gone through an extreme and "delicious" makeover. The satisfying runny yolk only entices the viewers to keep their eyes glued to the screen, to witness more culinary transformations.

Figure 4
We are then taken on a wild food adventure, where we witness the exploratory nature of all kinds of food. For some viewers, this textural journey can come off as cringey but, the commercial promises to satisfy everyone's tastebuds.

Figure 5
Of course, what would be a food commercial without cheese!

Figure 6
Now of course meat lovers receive a visual of a deliciously seasoned burger on the grill, which of course, makes you want to whip out your George Foreman grill and get a BBQ going.

Figure 7
And who doesn't love shrimp! I appreciate that the creative director of the commercial visited all corners of the culinary world and by remaining inclusive to all foods, viewers feel as if they have a seat at the table.

Figure 8
With all of this visual glory, you must save room for dessert and who doesn't appreciate a good chocolate drizzle!

Figure 9
With the commercial coming to an end, you can't help but feel sad but wait there's hope, the commercial offers a light at the tunnel, allowing their viewers to take part in continuing the food adventure by sharing over 100 new recipes!

Figure 10
The last shot is the company's name "Marks & Spencer", and a cheeky mango bouncing underneath it to gently remind the audience about the wild adventure we just embarked on.

In the end, I chose this commercial because of my passion for the culinary arts and the media. I appreciate a visually satisfying commercial that pays attention to detail and the beauty of what we eat. Many food-related commercials nowadays, focus solely on getting the message across as quickly and effectively as possible, without really enticing their viewers. Although M&S uses a fast-paced pan of all the food, they still make sure they get the money shot of the items, highlighting their succulent and sexy nature.
